Note:
Jig guide and leveling LRT rail above is the jig that used for as a tool in installing the rail at the precise rail position in short time and in the precision position, such as the inclination, the distance between parallel rails and the height of the rail.
Actually, the teamwork who install the rail is already have a jig design which it is already used in their country, Europe. But they can not apply it in Indonesia because the install method and the equipment in rail install is different.
The initial customer requests:
1. The Inclination should be 1 : 20.
2. The inside rail distance between rail after the install should be 1435 (mm), tol. +2/-1 (mm)
3. The jig weight should be decrease approximately 30 (kg) out of the original jig weight
of 60 (kg).
4. The over all jig width maximum is 90 (mm).
Although we should change the custom design for 8 (eight) times and it toke 2 (two) months to fulfill the customer request, at last in the middle of January 2018, the last jig design is accepted.
The amazing part is we can show to the public that the lecturer and his student of public institution like politeknik negeri jakarta have ability to complete a job in product design and development field.
